Too Many Words

So many, in fact, that we come up with words to describe words. Synonym, antonym, homophone, homonym, etc.

But, here's a couple weird ones, courtesy of random searching of dictionary.com:

Retronym - A word which is created due to having to redefine a previously known word, such as "rotary phone." Think retroactive.

Contranym - A word which can mean the opposite of itself, such as "dust." Most of the words they give, I don't get the opposite...

Full link here, and some of it is pretty interesting, like the standard policy for how to write a definition, which is a good way of explaining anything. Explain what the thing is like, and then show why it's different. You can also figure out darts jargon, learn some Scrabble tricks, finally figure out what the difference is between metaphor, simile, idiom, cliche, and all those other stupid little words. Heck, you can even learn what the only word without a vowel sound is in the English language, according to Oxford (and it's not "cwn," which is a standard answer. W's just a vowel there.)
